Skee Mask

Under the name Skee Mask, Bryan Müller develops electronic music from Munich that blends techno, breakbeat, ambient, dub techno and textures drawn from IDM. Born in 1993 in Emmering, Bavaria, he began by playing in rock bands before turning to production in the early 2010s. He first drew attention under the alias SCNTST, with releases on Boysnoize Records after being noticed by Boys Noize, then shifted his approach toward more atmospheric and rhythmically fragmented forms. Skee Mask emerged in 2014 on the Munich label Ilian Tape, founded by the Zenker brothers, with the EP Serum, initially under a low-profile pseudonym before the project became his primary identity. The albums Shred (2016), Compro (2018), Pool (2021) and Resort (2024) trace a path focused on precise work with percussion, pads and bass, between close listening and club use. Skee Mask was also a resident at Munich’s Blitz Club from 2017 to 2022, an anchoring that illuminates both the physical and finely detailed dimensions of his productions and DJ sets.
