Tom VR

Based in London, Tom VR creates electronic music that sits between atmospheric house, euphoric techno and ambient, with delicate textures and a compositional approach that sometimes borrows from experimental pop. A producer, DJ, composer and remixer, Tom VR moves between attentive listening and the club, crafting tracks where melodic lines remain fluid and rhythms advance without harshness. He has also released music as Valby Rotary, another facet of a trajectory focused on hybrid forms of dance music. Among his discography is the EP Heart Can Still Somersault, released on Spectral Sound, Ghostly International's club imprint. Tom VR's productions have been played by DJs such as Four Tet, Ben UFO, Avalon Emerson, Bicep and Jamie xx, and his DJ and live appearances have taken him from London to Amsterdam, Berlin, Madrid, Beijing and Shanghai.
