Forest Drive West

Based in London, Forest Drive West has been developing since the mid-2010s an approach rooted in British electronic music, at the intersection of techno, dubstep, broken beats and jungle. Early productions showcase dense, atmospheric textures driven by deep bass and highly detailed rhythmic work, before his music later opened more clearly to broken structures and the legacy of jungle and soundsystem culture. Forest Drive West has released several records on Livity Sound and Rupture London, two labels that place his aesthetic between immersive techno, dub-influenced tension and syncopated percussion. A producer and DJ, he performs in clubs and at festivals with sets that link different traditions of British bass music without strict genre boundaries.
