Nick Muir

Before this period, he worked as a keyboard session musician in the 1980s, notably in the United Kingdom and France, then moved closer to studio environments and the emerging rave culture. Nick Muir subsequently gained visibility with John Digweed within the Bedrock duo, a formation associated with the rise of English progressive house, with tracks such as 'For What You Dream Of', used in Trainspotting, then 'Heaven Scent' and 'Voices'. Alongside Bedrock, Nick Muir has pursued a steady solo and collaborative activity, including remixes, maxi singles and dancefloor projects, with writing that favors slow progressions, dark textures, clear bass lines, and a steady rhythmic tension. His discography under his name includes notably 'Dark Blue' (1999), 'Bride of Frankenstein' (2005) with KG, 'Savin' You' (2005) with Craig Walker, then 'Mirror Walk / In the Room' (2018).
