Guy J

Under the name Guy J, Guy Judah has been building a career linked to the progressive house and techno scenes since the mid-2000s, adopting an approach that blends club tension, melodic textures and more contemplative formats. Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Guy J began mixing as a teenager and released his first tracks in 2006, notably with Sahar Z, before issuing the album Esperanza in 2007 on Bedrock, John Digweed's label—a key milestone in his international breakthrough. There Guy J refined a precise electronic language between progressive house, tech house, techno and touches of electronica, alternating tracks designed for the dancefloor with slower, more reflective pieces. This duality reappears on 1000 Words (2011) and The Trees, The Sea & The Sun (2015). In 2012 Guy J founded Lost & Found, a structure intended for his productions and those of artists close to his aesthetic, extending his ties to the underground scene. He also appears on labels such as Cocoon and Turbo, and uses the alias Cornucopia for some projects. According to sources from 2020, he is based on Gozo, Malta, and remains associated with long, progressive sets in which his own productions occupy a central place.
