Pan-Pot

In Berlin the techno duo Pan‑Pot comprises Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix, who trained in sound engineering at the SAE Institute where they met in the early 2000s. Pan‑Pot first made a name on the European minimal and techno scene with a series of maxi singles released on the Berlin label Mobilee, before releasing the album "Pan‑O‑Rama" in 2007, which established an aesthetic combining dry rhythms, emphatic basslines and dark atmospheres punctuated by melodic or vocal touches. Over the years Pan‑Pot evolved that framework toward a heavier, more dancefloor‑oriented sound while retaining a progressive track construction often based on tension and variation of texture. Present at major techno clubs and international festivals, the duo also developed their own label, Second State Audio, during the 2010s as a platform for their releases — including the album "The Other" released in 2015 — and to support a new generation of producers aligned with their universe.
