Since the early 2010s, Alex Stein has developed a repertoire centered on dense, tense club techno, built from firm rhythms, emphatic basslines, dark synths and gradual buildups. Releases by Alex Stein on labels such as Terminal M and Tronic have helped establish him within European techno circuits, while maintaining ties to the Latin American scene. His music is conceived for the dancefloor, with a direct and effective writing style, but it also incorporates melodic passages, hypnotic textures and, at times, a subtle acid tint. Primarily active solo as a DJ and producer, Alex Stein takes this repertoire to club and festival stages across Europe and Latin America. His discography is mainly made up of EPs, singles and remixes, in an aesthetic continuity that links peak-time techno, progressive tension and warehouse energy.
