Arthur H

Arthur H is indeed his father's worthy son. Born in 1966 in Paris, he is better known by his stage name Arthur H. A pianist, singer and gifted composer, he began his musical studies in the United States where he learned music theory, before returning to Paris to start composing. Having a famous father does not guarantee success, and Arthur H proved his own talent by building his reputation largely on his own. In 1990 he released his first album, which was well received by the public. He developed his distinctive style himself and continued to refine it through his albums, his concerts and numerous collaborations. After his second album, “Bachibouzouk”, Arthur H stepped back for nearly three years before returning with “Trouble-fête”. The artist matured, and in 2009 he was honoured with a Victoire de la Musique for his album “L’homme du monde”. In 2012 Arthur H was still active and released his eleventh studio album, “L’or noir”, the result of his collaboration with Nicolas Repac. With his raspy voice, Arthur H performs on stage in singular concerts that only he can deliver.
