Dominik Eulberg

German DJ and producer Dominik Eulberg has developed since the early 2000s a personal approach to minimal techno, informed by his background as a biologist and ornithologist in the Westerwald region of western Germany. Discovered by the Cologne label Traum Schallplatten, he released the album 'Flora & Fauna' in 2004, where detailed electronic textures and references to the animal world already shaped his writing. Eulberg continued this exploration with 'Heimische Gefilde' in 2007, which mixes club tracks with elements of naturalist commentary, then with 'Diorama' in 2011, featuring more melodic constructions, before returning with 'Mannigfaltig' in 2019 and 'Avichrom' in 2022, two records focused on biodiversity. His maxi singles on Cocoon Recordings, Kompakt and Traum place him within the European techno scene, between German clubs and international festivals. In both his DJ sets and productions, Dominik Eulberg favors precise rhythms, long progressions and meticulous attention to detail inspired by the sounds and cycles of nature, combining dancefloor orientation with an educational approach to ecological issues.
