Brothers of Metal

Founded in Falun, Sweden, in the early 2010s, Brothers of Metal are part of the European power metal scene, blending Viking imagery and Norse mythology. The band, with a large lineup that includes three vocalists and several instrumentalists, develops a sound where melodic power metal, classic heavy influences and folk-tinged elements meet, with a marked use of choirs and collective choruses. Brothers of Metal gradually gained recognition online before releasing the 2017 album 'Prophecy of Ragnarok', centered on a narrative universe inspired by the Scandinavian sagas, and then 'Emblas Saga' in 2020, also issued by AFM Records, which continues this work around mythological tales structured as epic, hymn-like tracks. On stage, Brothers of Metal appears on club and festival circuits, notably at Wacken Open Air, where the warrior aesthetic, costumes and interplay between the different voices play a central role in shaping this Norse-themed power metal.
