RnBoi

Born in 2006 in Fontainebleau and raised in Nemours, RnBoi, whose real name is Samy Schmitt Fahli, started out early as a beatmaker before moving to the microphone. The son of a Moroccan mother and an Italian father, he has built a musical world where R&B and rap intersect, characterized by careful attention to vocal melodies and the alternation between singing and rapped sections. Still in high school, he decided to leave his studies to devote himself fully to music. He initially released rap tracks, then gravitated toward francophone R&B focused on romantic relationships and intimacy. In 2025 he became the first artist signed to Aya Nakamura’s label, in partnership with Double Jeu Records and Nakamura Industry, a move that formalized a previously self-taught career. That same year RnBoi issued his first EP, My Eyes Only (2025), which includes tracks such as BTRD and Mon bébé — the latter co-composed with Max on guitar and Seny on piano and widely shared on social media prior to its official release. The stage name RnBoi refers to Eren from the anime Attack on Titan, reflecting a childhood physical resemblance to the character, and now accompanies all his projects, including the album My Eyes Only - Flashback, announced for 2026.
