kulturr

Kulturr develops a French-language project rooted in Angolan and Congolese heritage, with a writing style that links rap, R&B and Afro sonorities in a melodic, rhythmic format. Emerging in the early 2020s, Kulturr first attracted attention with tracks like "Busy" and "Jojo", where a flexible approach to vocal delivery is already evident—between singing, catchy choruses and rap phrasing. His universe is built on danceable productions, accessible vocal lines and a direct relationship to lived experience, while maintaining a contemporary urban aesthetic. Along his path, Kulturr has shaped this direction with the EP HOPE : Ayé, then with the single "Mieux en mieux" and the EP HOPE : Imany, which continue this blend of African colours, R&B melodies and French-language rap. Kulturr thus belongs to a scene where the boundaries between afro-pop, melodic rap and urban music are increasingly porous, with a repertoire designed both for singles and for more developed projects.
