Naza
Born in Amiens in 1991 and raised in Creil, Naza, a Franco-Congolese artist, has developed since the mid-2010s a sound that sits between French rap, urban pop and Afro influences, placing particular emphasis on Congolese rhythms, ndombolo and a highly oral style of writing. First noticed in the circle around Bomayé Musik, where he met artists such as KeBlack, Naza gained visibility with tracks that combine sung choruses, danceable energy and memorable lines. His debut album, Incroyable, was released in 2017, followed by Bénéf in 2019 and Gros bébé in 2020. Across these projects Naza maintains a festive, melodic foundation while broadening his palette toward more relaxed songs addressing romantic relationships, doubt and everyday life. His collaborations with KeBlack, Niska and SCH place him within a French scene where rap, afropop and the legacies of Congolese music intersect, with a recognizable style marked by fluid phrasing, immediate hooks and a constant balance between lightness, melody and percussion.
