Ty Myers

Raised on a family cattle ranch near Austin, Texas, Ty Myers developed an early, direct connection to country music, encouraged by his father, a local singer‑songwriter and guitarist. Born in 2007, he learned guitar as a child and began writing his own songs before adolescence, in an environment shaped by Texas country tradition and by family ties to Dean Sams (Lonestar) and pianist Ronnie Huckaby. Myers's career took shape in 2024 when his first songs circulated widely on social media, notably after his mother posted 'The Tie That Binds' on TikTok following a football injury. Signed first to Starstruck Management and later to Columbia Records, Ty Myers released his debut studio album, The Select, in 2025, blending narrative country songwriting with blues accents and soul inflections on tracks such as 'Thought It Was Love' and 'Ends of the Earth'. A deluxe edition later added acoustic versions of songs like 'Firefly' and 'Worry Is a Sickness'. Announced for 2026, his second album Heavy on the Soul was recorded at FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals and produced by Brandon Hood; it continues this fusion of Texas country heritage, influences from George Strait, Otis Redding and Stevie Ray Vaughan, and a more contemporary approach inspired in part by John Mayer, while Myers also joined Luke Combs' My Kinda Saturday Night tour as an opening act.
