Disciples

Based in south London, Disciples has been developing since the early 2010s a British house style positioned between deep house, electronic pop and vocal house, featuring supple basslines, crisp rhythms and songwriting centered on immediate melodies. The project first emerged on the English club scene thanks to a series of productions and remixes that established them in dance circuits, before reaching a wider audience in 2015 with "How Deep Is Your Love", a collaboration with Calvin Harris that marked a turning point in Disciples' trajectory. Since then Disciples has pursued a path at the intersection of clubs, electronic festivals and a more accessible strand of dance, alternating singles, collaborations and DJ sets. Their aesthetic remains committed to melodic, readable house—less raw than the most underground forms but without tipping into spectacular EDM—placing Disciples within a typically British continuity between club culture, pop production and radio formats.
