Info
On June 3, 2027, Rachel Chinouriri takes over O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London with the kind of indie pop that hits close without trying too hard. Based in London and shaped by her Zimbabwean roots and a Croydon upbringing, she writes from the everyday: identity, family ties, relationships, the stuff you don’t always say out loud. Her songs often start from a voice-and-guitar core, then open up with spacious textures, subtle electronics, and melodies that stay with you.
From the early EP Mama’s Boy to Four° in Winter, she’s built a sound where intimacy and restraint do the heavy lifting. More recently, What a Devastating Turn of Events pushes her into sharper alternative-pop territory while keeping that direct, narrative songwriting front and center. Expect a set that moves between soft confession and brighter punch, made for a room that listens as much as it sings back.
