Info
On Friday 2 April 2027, Madra Salach lands at Electric Bristol with that new-wave Dublin folk sound that treats tradition as a living thing, not a museum piece. Built for the stage first, the band moves between Irish ballads, trad-driven melodies and a more modern, band-shaped energy, where storytelling and rhythm go hand in hand. As a sextet, they play with the textures of Celtic folk while keeping the writing direct and current, switching from intimate narrative moments to fuller, pub-ready choruses without losing the thread. If you’ve caught the buzz around their singles Blue & Gold and I Was Just A Boy, or the EP It’s a Hell of an Age, this show is a chance to hear those songs stretch out and hit harder in a live setting. With their first album Gorta announced for 2027, expect a set that bridges early favorites and what’s coming next, all rooted in that collective Dublin scene where folk stays restless and social.
