Info
Fujiya & Miyagi return to London for a live set at MOTH Club on January 30, 2027, bringing their tight, hypnotic blend of kosmische pop, electronics and motorik pulse. Built around metronomic grooves, supple basslines and David Best’s cool, half-spoken delivery, their songs thrive on repetition and small shifts that hit hard when the band locks in.
This show also comes in the wake of New Shiny Object, a record shaped over years of sessions and rewrites until it landed on something direct: concise art-pop with that familiar Fujiya & Miyagi sense of control and tension. Expect a set that moves between newer cuts and the catalogue that made their name, from the sleek snap of Transparent Things to the funkier angles that followed, always with that minimalist precision that fits as well in an indie room as it does in a more electronic context.
