Kenny Mason

On August 30, 2026 at La Maroquinerie in Paris, Kenny Mason arrives with the blend of Southern rap and gritty guitars that has become his signature. Born out of the Atlanta scene, he draws equally from trap, grunge, punk rap and shoegaze washes, alternating tense verses, melodic singing and abrasive choruses. First noticed as part of the House 9 collective, he has forged a solo path through writing, production and sonic experimentation. After the single 'Hit' in 2019, he released Angelic Hoodrat (2020) and Angelic Hoodrat: Supercut (2021), which features Denzel Curry and Freddie Gibbs. He followed with the mixtape Ruffs (2022), the EP '6' and Highway 9 (2023), then 9 (2024), while guesting with JID on 'Dance Now' and touring within the American alternative rap scene, notably with Denzel Curry and on the Scaring the Hoes tour. Onstage, his tracks shift without warning from trap rhythms to heavier, sung passages, all while remaining firmly rooted in hip-hop.
