For 15 years, Oldelaf on stage meant him surrounded by four musicians and actors with whom he played all over the world, even in Vendée. But, following medical advice, the four were forced to take a break to undergo restorative psychotherapy.
Oldelaf thought this was a chance to do what he had never dared to do before: change his look, certainly, but also go on a solo tour. What a challenge for him, a lover of group adventures. But also what an opportunity to reconnect with his first loves.
Indeed, we’re used to seeing him hiding behind a guitar all the time, but what is less known is that, as a youngster of 14, he actually started out as a bar pianist. His first songs, his first concerts, were at the piano.
So this is a more intimate, more introspective adventure, yet funny and offbeat. And he can rest assured, it will still be a duo: a grand piano and Oldelaf.
