This Is Lorelei

On 26 November 2026 at Electric Brixton in London, This Is Lorelei takes the spotlight. The project of New York songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Nate Amos (also half of Water From Your Eyes), This Is Lorelei has unfolded since the mid-2010s as a space for self-produced songs released with quiet regularity. The music moves between guitar pop, lo-fi indie pop and folk pop, with occasional experimental detours. It’s built on melodic writing and agile arrangements, reshaping familiar forms while keeping them direct.

After a run of under-the-radar releases, Box for Buddy, Box for Star (2024) marked a new phase and carried the project through tours in the US and Europe. Several songs have since been covered by artists like MJ Lenderman and Snail Mail, a sign of how these tunes travel. With Holo Boy (2025), Amos revisited material written between 2014 and 2021, not as a compilation but as new versions that tie together different periods around a clearer, guitar-led sound. Live, This Is Lorelei draws from across that catalogue with attention to songcraft, detail and momentum.
