Info
Glare - Formed in 2017 in Texas’s Rio Grande Valley, Glare shape a widescreen shoegaze that shifts between haze and clarity. Guitars spill into layered textures while melodies brush against dream pop, tracing that edge where comfort meets unease. With a DIY backbone and a sense of space, the band turns volume into mood; Sunset Funeral, their debut LP, writes through grief and the way it lingers in memory and sleep. They bring this tense, expansive palette to The Underworld, London on 23 June 2026.
Glixen - From Phoenix, this four-piece leans into weight and shimmer at once. Their songs nod to My Bloody Valentine and Hum as much as to Bjork and Godflesh, folding industrial heft and pop instincts into humid, reverb-laced hooks. The instrumentals surge and crawl, leaving room for Aislinn Ritchie’s soft, steady voice to cut a calm path through the noise, giving each track a reflective undertow.
Midrift - The San Francisco trio of brothers Manoa and Kai Neukermans with Gus Merkam threads alternative rock with shoegaze grit. Think thick, detuned riffs and held-back tempos that break into punch, somewhere between Deftones, Title Fight, Whirr and The Smashing Pumpkins. Their 2022 self-titled EP set the tone: concise, foggy and direct, built for rooms where the low end presses forward and the choruses settle in slow.
