Marmozets

Marmozets bring their tight, rhythm-switching rock to O2 Academy Leicester on 12 June 2026. Formed in 2007 in Bingley by two sets of siblings, the five-piece has built a sound that sits between math rock, post-hardcore, alternative and punk: angular riffs, sharp tempo shifts and a writing style that balances abrasive tension with direct, memorable hooks.

From early DIY EPs like Out of My Control, Passive Aggressive and Vexed, the band moved to Roadrunner and sharpened their identity across The Weird and Wonderful Marmozets (2014) and Knowing What You Know Now (2018). After a pause marked by health issues and time off the road, they returned to stages in the mid-2020s, picking up where they left off with a run of energized shows.

This Leicester date lands as Marmozets open a new chapter towards Co.War.Dice., announced for 2026. On stage, they draw from their early cuts and both albums while introducing fresh material, moving from knotty, stop-start sections to punchier choruses with a clear sense of dynamics.
