Info
First Aid Kit play the Royal Albert Hall in London on 29 September 2026. Formed by Swedish sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg, the duo has shaped a folk language that blends indie folk, americana and country into clear melodies, tight harmonies and acoustic arrangements. Their story crossed borders in the late 2000s with a cover of Fleet Foxes’ Tiger Mountain Peasant Song, followed by the EP Drunken Trees and the debut album The Big Black and the Blue. The Lion’s Roar in 2012 sharpened their balance between North American folk tradition and pop sensibility, a line they kept exploring on Stay Gold, Ruins and, most recently, Palomino, with productions that opened up without losing intimacy.
On stage, the songs breathe through unison-to-harmony shifts, steady strums and narratives that move from road stories to quiet confessions. The set should roam across their catalogue, with stripped moments, twangy colours and a nod to Who by Fire, their live homage to Leonard Cohen. Along the way they’ve shared voices with Conor Oberst, Jenny Lewis, M. Ward, Tove Lo or Pink; here, it’s the two of them, side by side, letting that blend carry the night.
