For fifteen years, Oldelaf on stage meant him surrounded by four musician-actors with whom he played all over the world, even in Vendée.
But, following medical advice, the four were forced to take a break to undergo restorative psychotherapy.
Oldelaf thought this was an opportunity to do something he had never dared to do before: change his outfits, certainly, but also embark on a solo tour.
What a challenge for him, a lover of the group adventure.
Yet what a chance, too, to reconnect with his first loves: although we’re used to seeing him hiding behind a guitar, what is less known is that, as a kid of 14, he began as a bar pianist. His first songs, his first concerts, were at the piano.
So a more intimate, more introspective adventure is being prepared — funny and offbeat.
And rest assured, it will remain a duo: a grand piano and Oldelaf.
