La Rue Kétanou returns to the stage with what has been its strength for more than twenty years: a concert conceived as a gathering. The trio — Florent Vintrigner, Olivier Leite and Mourad Musset — carries a French chanson nourished by street life, theatre and shared stories, between choruses we sing along to in unison and lyrics that move forward with purpose, without artifice. With them, energy circulates freely and in close collaboration, and the audience becomes part of the narrative as much as the songs.
Known for its free-spirited tone and its taste for offbeat paths, the group has never ceased to explore: parallel projects, desires that spill over, different modes of transmission… without breaking the thread. On stage, this continuity is palpable: a way of keeping the rope taut, preserving the collective momentum, and placing the songs back at the center, alive and intimate.
