Love Shop

Love Shop lands at Tapperiet in Køge, Denmark on April 24, 2026. Born in Copenhagen at the end of the 80s, the band blends melodic pop, guitar rock and a light new wave tint, with Danish lyrics that circle the city, relationships and a grounded kind of melancholy. The original trio—singer and writer Jens Unmack, guitarist-producer Hilmer Hassig and harmonica player Henrik Hall—shaped a sound carried by albums like 1990, DK, Billeder af verden and the self-titled release of 1998. After Anti and National, the story shifted; today Love Shop moves forward as a project centered on Unmack, keeping the songwriting clear and the guitars upfront, and extending the line with later records such as Frelsens hær and Skandinavisk lyst.

On stage, the set opens the catalog rather than fixing on one era: early tracks with crisp, wiry edges sit next to later songs with a warmer pop pulse. The mood stays direct and unadorned, voice and guitars at the core, with melodies that lean into the language and let the stories surface.
