Gnags heads to Royal Arena Copenhagen on 16 April 2027 for an evening in which the band's blend of rock, pop and reggae fills the room. With Peter A.G. Nielsen at the front, it remains the storytelling songs, the danceable rhythms, and the characteristic brass arrangements that drive the concert forward, and that make the numbers land as much in the body as in the head.
Since their roots in Aarhus in the 1960s, Gnags have moved from early, rougher rock expressions to periods of synth-driven productions and a later, more mature rock sound, without losing the clear identity of the melodies and Peter A.G.'s voice. Live, the band has always been strongest because the repertoire is built for communal singing and audience participation, and that is the energy they bring with them to Copenhagen this evening.
