Nicklas Sahl

Born in 1997 in Hadsten, Denmark, Nicklas Sahl fits within melodic, guitar-led pop with a singer‑songwriter approach that blends direct choruses, spare arrangements and acoustic sensitivity. He moved to Copenhagen at the end of 2017 to develop his musical career and launched his recording career in 2018 with the single "Hero", followed later that year by "New Eyes." His debut album, "Planets", was released in 2019 and established a body of English-language pop centred on short formats, ballads and a clear vocal delivery. The same year he also recorded the Danish song "Hvis Jeg Kunne Blive Som Dig" (released in some contexts as "Si je pouvais devenir comme toi") for the film "Kollision", marking a turn toward singing in Danish. His trajectory continued with the albums "Unsolvable" (2020) and "God Save The Dream" (2022), where his pop remained intimate while opening up to more contemporary production. Nicklas Sahl has also released several collaborations, notably with Emelie Hollow, Maximillian, IVAN$ITO and Tina Dickow, reinforcing his place in the current Danish pop scene.
