Jimmy Sax returns with Toi & Moi, a solo set conceived as a tête-à-tête. After his tour with the Symphonic Dance Orchestra, he chose a more intimate, adaptable format. Alone on stage with his turntables and looper, he composes live, recording layers one by one and shifting roles throughout the concert: saxophone in the foreground, but also piano, guitar, drums and some sung passages. His repertoire is revisited in versions built on the spot, where the loop becomes both a playground and the guiding thread.
On April 4, 2026 at Le Dôme in Marseille, Toi & Moi highlights the core of his practice: a solo live performance constructed in real time that unfolds each piece differently. The audience follows the making of the tracks and the succession of instruments, from the breath of the sax to programmed rhythms, through harmonies played on keyboards and strings. A direct encounter, up close to the stage.
