Ultra Vomit will be at the Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon on April 18, 2026. An iconoclastic presence in French metal, the quartet has cultivated from the beginning the art of subversion: pastiches of death, heavy and punk, unlikely jingles and childlike melodies twisted by hefty riffs. On stage, the band strings together winks and sudden shifts, moving from a blast beat to a nursery rhyme, from a heroic solo to an absurd chorus, while retaining the groove and precision of a true metal band. Bolstered by the 2024 album Le Pouvoir de la Puissance, Ultra Vomit continues to hone its songwriting and parodies, with tracks built for the pit and choruses that beg to be sung back. Between raw energy, attention to detail and a deliberately mischievous spirit, this concert plays the card of a blend of adrenaline and off-kilter humor, designed as much for fans of heavy sound as for the curious.
