Les Vulves Assassines

French trio featuring DJ Conant, MC Vieillard and Samy, Les Vulves Assassines develop a cross between punk, rap and electro carried by chanted texts, collective choruses and an abrasive electric guitar. The band emerged on the alternative scene with a direct, frontal approach, where live energy is central and the writing mixes satire, slogans and science‑fiction imagery. Les Vulves Assassines place their songs in a feminist and social register, addressing class relations as well as unemployment, abortion, gender norms and love, in a deliberately simple and striking language. Their first album, Godzilla 3000, was released in 2019, followed by Das Kapital in 2022. In 2023 the track La Retraite circulated widely during protests against the pension reform in France. Between spoken word, rap, minimalist electronic rhythms and punk tension, Les Vulves Assassines occupy a singular space in DIY, activist and alternative circuits.
