Info

Kim Wilde returns to the stage at the Théâtre Femina in Bordeaux on 18 April 2026. Propelled to stardom in 1981 by “Kids in America,” she has sold more than 30 million records and released 15 albums. She is the artist behind “Chequered Love,” “Cambodia” and “You Keep Me Hangin’ On,” the latter of which reached number one in the United States. Voted Best British Female at the 1983 BPI Awards, she supported Michael Jackson on the European leg of the Bad tour and later shared the bill with David Bowie on the Greatest Hits tour in 1990. The 1990s saw her release Love Moves and Love Is, featuring the single “Love Is Holy” and a cover of “If I Can’t Have You,” compiled in The Singles Collection 1981–1993. After a hiatus devoted to family life and gardening, she returned to the stage in 2001. In 2006 she signed with EMI in Germany and released Never Say Never, followed by more than 50 concerts in 2007. In 2021, Pop Don’t Stop – The Greatest Hits included “Shine On,” a duet with Boy George that reached number one on the UK vinyl chart. Her Greatest Hits tour continued through 2023, encompassing festivals across Europe and dates in the United States, before the acoustic Wilde Winter shows. Closer, her new album announced for January 2025, paves the way for the 2026 tour.
