Thomas Fersen
Thomas Fersen is a French musician and singer, born in Paris in 1963. Passionate about music from a young age, he learned to play the guitar, influenced by artists such as Nick Cave. After completing his military service and spending time in Norway and Central America, he released his first 45‑rpm single, “Ton Héros Jane,” in 1988, which went largely unnoticed. His debut album, “Le bal des oiseaux,” came out in 1993 and created a stir: critics praised it and the public wanted more. The following year he was awarded a Victoire de la Musique. His distinctive world drew audiences to concert halls across Europe and Canada. Alongside his music career, Thomas Fersen has also written books. In 2013 he once again went on tour for the release of his ninth album, “Thomas Fersen & The Ginger Accident.”
