Concerts and clubbing in Glasgow

Over the coming months, Glasgow will host some of the best-known events in Glasgow, with a strong run of live shows across the city. Among the standout concerts in Glasgow are Brandi Carlile at OVO Hydro, where folk and Americana meet finely drawn songwriting, Stephen Wilson Jr. at O2 Academy Glasgow with his alt-country edge, and Alice Cooper at Pavilion Theatre, a more spoken, story-led look at a long rock career. The line-up also includes Melanie C at Barrowland Ballroom, Antony Szmierek at Queen Margaret Union, and The Chameleons at SWG3 Glasgow, while The Sewing Club at Nice N Sleazy, Benjamin Steer at Òran Mór, and beaux at King Tut's Wah Wah Hut add more variety to the city’s live calendar. If you are looking for clubbing in Glasgow, the feel here is more about late-night venue energy than classic club nights, but the season still points to a busy stretch for anyone following the city’s events scene.
