Mark Ambor
Born in Pleasantville, New York, and active from New York City, Mark Ambor develops a singer‑songwriter writing that blends folk, indie pop and acoustic pop, in a format centered on voice, guitar and light production. Mark Ambor launched his solo project in 2019 with the single 'Fever', then the EP Colorful the same year, before continuing with a series of tracks such as 'It’s Us Again' in 2020, 'The Long Way' and 'Company' in 2021, then 'Waves', 'Hair Toss, Arms Crossed' and 'Don’t You Worry' in 2022. This first period establishes a direct melodic register, based on clear choruses and an intimate approach to pop songwriting. In September 2022, Mark Ambor released the EP Hello World, extending this aesthetic between contemporary folk, bright pop and restrained arrangements. In 2023, he followed with 'Curls in the Wind', 'Good to Be' and 'I Hope It All Works Out', before reaching a wider audience in 2024 with 'Belong Together'. His first album, Rockwood, was released in August 2024. In his recent trajectory, Mark Ambor situates himself in an American pop scene where personal writing, acoustic textures and accessible productions occupy a central place.
