Natalia Lacunza

Born in Pamplona, in Navarre, Natalia Lacunza rose to prominence in Spain at the end of the 2010s after her appearance on Operación Triunfo 2018, where she reached the final before pursuing a solo career. Her music sits between pop, R&B, indie pop and touches of alternative, with songwriting focused on short formats, smooth melodies and productions often plush, sometimes pierced by electronic impulses or guitar-leaning accents. After early releases under the name Eilan Bay, Natalia Lacunza released the EP Otras Alas in 2019, notably propelled by the track « nana triste » with Guitarricadelafuente, then followed with EP2 in 2020 and En Casa - Acústico the same year. Across these releases, she refines an intimate register, between sentimental songs, nocturnal pop and pared-down choruses. Her career also includes several collaborations with artists from the Spanish and European scenes, such as Pol Granch, Cariño, Videoclub, Aitana, Trashi, Ganges, Ana Mena, Nickzzy or Jesse Baez. In 2022, Natalia Lacunza released her first album, Tiene Que Ser Para Mí, before continuing with the EP DURO in 2023. Natalia Lacunza has since evolved between concert halls, pop festivals and stages connected to the new Spanish music scenes, in a universe where vocal vulnerability, melodic sense, and a contemporary approach to Spanish-language pop coexist.
