Alizzz

Producer, songwriter and singer based in Barcelona, Alizzz has developed since the early 2010s a career at the crossroads of electronic music, pop and urban sounds. Born in 1984 in Castelldefels, Catalonia, Cristian Quirante Catalán began under the name Alizzz with EPs oriented toward bass music and club releases on international labels, before turning to Spanish-language pop and the Iberian rap and reggaeton scenes. Alongside his work as a DJ, Alizzz established himself as a regular collaborator of C. Tangana, with whom he co-wrote and produced several notable tracks as well as a large part of the album El Madrileño in 2021, and he also composes for various artists of the new Spanish-language pop. This studio experience fed into his first solo album Tiene que haber algo más, released in 2021, where Alizzz blends intimate songs, detailed electronic arrangements and rhythms drawn from contemporary R&B and Latin music. Co-founder in 2019 of the label and publisher Whoa! Music, Alizzz now divides his time between producing for others, releasing music under his own name and performing on Spanish and European stages.
