Guitarricadelafuente, a Spanish musician between tradition and modernity, weaves a body of work at the crossroads of folklore and indie pop. Born between Benicàssim and his grandmother’s village, Las Cuevas de Cañart, he grew up amid flamenco, rural memory and the echoes of a digital world in flux. His music, both intimate and universal, reinvents Spanish popular songs through lo‑fi textures, muted guitars and a contemporary sensibility. Revealed in 2019 with 'Guantanamera' and 'Nana Triste', he established himself with 'La Cantera' (2022) as one of the most singular voices of his generation. With 'Spanish Leather' (2025), whose cover is by Wolfgang Tillmans, Guitarricadelafuente continues to explore a deeply personal sonic territory, between poetry, melancholy and creative boldness.
