Jump Source

Based in Montreal, Jump Source brings together Patrick Holland and Francis Latreille, also active under the name Priori, in a duo that since the late 2010s has explored several forms of club-oriented electronic music. Their joint work initially focused on long, intuitive recordings, where house, techno, electro and synthetic pop intersect with oblique structures, mobile rhythms and a strong taste for shifts in writing. Jump Source released its first self-titled album in 2019, followed by a series of EPs that sketch a common language between the two musicians, nourished both by their solo backgrounds and by a shared studio approach. As the releases progressed, the duo refined an aesthetic made of tracks functional for the dancefloor but pierced by accidents, ruptures and more singular textures. JS06, released in 2024, features Sabola, Martyn Bootyspoon and Frankie Teardrop. In parallel with Jump Source, Patrick Holland and Francis Latreille also work on production, writing and mixing for other artists in their scene, including James K., Maara, Car Culture or Tiga. In 2026, Jump Source expands its scope again with Fold, the duo’s first album released on NAFF Recordings, where club energy dialogues with more melodic formats and varied vocal collaborations.
