Randall King

Born in Texas and raised on the Western plains, Randall King fits squarely within the American country tradition, cultivating a sound rooted in honky tonk and neotraditional country. After several years on regional stages, he drew attention in the mid‑2010s with his first EP, Another Bullet (2016), which established a repertoire focused on barroom stories, the road, and rural life. The album Randall King (2018) confirmed this direction with a mix of uptempo tracks and slow ballads driven by a direct vocal delivery, prominent pedal steel, and bright guitars, in an aesthetic close to 1980s–90s country. Based in the Texas circuit and active in Nashville, Randall King plays numerous gigs at clubs and country festivals across the United States. With Shot Glass (2022) he sharpens his songwriting, remaining traditional while incorporating more contemporary arrangements, consolidating his place in today’s country scene.
