Biscits

Born in Southampton, United Kingdom, Biscits, also known as Luke Jones, has since the second half of the 2010s developed a project focused on direct, rhythm-driven, club-calibrated tech house, with thick basses, pronounced grooves and occasional borrowings from vocal house as well as a more percussion-driven aesthetic. Active on the British electronic scene and then internationally, Biscits established himself through a string of singles and EPs released on labels connected to house and tech house circuits, which accompanied his establishment in club and festival lineups. His career sits in a generation of English producers attentive to the impact of peak-time tracks, while preserving a simple melodic sense and very legible structures. Broadcast by specialized radio stations and supported in anglophone dance scenes, his music circulates as much in the United Kingdom as in Europe, North America and Australia. Parallel to his production work, Biscits conducts regular DJ activity on club and festival formats, with appearances at large events such as Reading & Leeds, EDC Las Vegas and Tomorrowland.
