Trym

Active since the late 2010s, French DJ and producer Trym, also known by his given name Martin Lermurier, has developed a techno approach that blends hard trance, hard dance and rave heritage into a direct, fast and melodic format. His profile broadened in 2019 with a set for Boiler Room during a Possession night in Paris, a moment that firmly placed him within the circulation of Europe's emerging techno scenes. Trym's sound relies on taut rhythms, trance-style builds, euphoric pads and a frontal energy, with a marked taste for contrasts between club intensity and more emotional motifs. Alongside his productions and tours, Trym founded the label COLOR, conceived as an extension of this hybrid aesthetic between techno, trance and contemporary rave culture. Present in both clubs and festival settings, Trym belongs to a generation of French electronic artists who have brought forward a techno more open to hard trance references and the dance dynamics of the 1990s and 2000s.
