OMAKS
Originating from the Paris scene, OMAKS began DJing in 2019 before turning to production in 2021. His work sits within a club-focused techno register, featuring fast rhythms, pronounced basslines and a direct writing style centered on dancefloor effectiveness. The track Back Street Bass helped to circulate his name within the techno scene, and the 2022 EP 5AM established the first landmarks of his discography. In 2023 OMAKS adopted a sustained release pace, putting out one track per month — a series that includes Crowd Control, Make Your Transition and Something Like This. This progression has been accompanied by a regular presence in France, across several European countries and in South America, with appearances alongside parties and collectives such as Verknipt, Doom and Teletech. Through these releases and on stage, OMAKS develops a taut, physical and no-nonsense techno format rooted in contemporary club practice.
