Active within Paris’s electronic scene, AIROD has established himself as a producer and DJ focused on fast, direct techno steeped in rave references. Emerging from the capital’s free-party and club circuits, he came to prominence in the mid-2010s after joining the Molekül label and collective, where he honed an aesthetic blending in-your-face kick drums, trance motifs, industrial pads, and acid energy. The 2018 EP “Universe of 90’s Techno Parties” on Molekül marked a major step in his discography, cementing a direction in which dancefloor intensity takes precedence over formal experimentation. Release after release and through a series of remixes, AIROD has developed a highly physical sound built on extended builds, tight breaks, and minimal yet catchy melodic work, engineered for high tempos. His club and festival performances have taken him to numerous stages across Europe, buoyed by the rise of harder, faster techno and often alongside other new-generation artists. He later launched Elixyr Records, a label that serves as a platform for his own output and a way to carry onto record the aesthetic forged in his DJ sets—between contemporary rave techno, nods to the 1990s, and a straightforward approach to dance music.
