Alan Fitzpatrick

Emerging from Southampton's electronic scene in England, Alan Fitzpatrick gained prominence in the late 2000s with a direct, tension-filled techno marked by dry rhythms, heavy basslines and a sense of groove rooted both in British tradition and the European club circuit. He circulated his productions on labels such as Drumcode and Cocoon before gradually widening his scope toward a more melodic and atmospheric writing style while remaining firmly on dancefloor territory. This evolution is audible in his DJ sets as well as in his releases, ranging from peak-time techno and dark textures to more emotional passages. He later founded We Are The Brave, conceived as both a label and a platform for his sonic universe. His discography notably includes the album Machine Therapy (2021), which demonstrates this move toward broader formats and vocal collaborations. Over the years, Alan Fitzpatrick has become a fixture on club and techno festival lineups across Europe, with a clear, physical approach focused on the effectiveness of both mixing and production.
