Typh Barrow

Active on the Belgian scene since the early 2010s, Typh Barrow develops a project where soul, pop and jazz-tinged influences intersect around the piano. Born in Brussels, singer‑songwriter Typh Barrow sings in both English and French and builds her songs around a deep, expressive voice, often set over harmonies close to blues and gospel. After initial tracks released online and several EPs that established her musical world, she released the 2018 album “Raw”, marked by songwriting focused on intimacy, relationships and personal trajectories. On stage, Typh Barrow performs solo or with a band in venues and festivals in Belgium, then progressively in France and neighboring countries, adapting her arrangements from the piano‑voice format to fuller ensembles. Alongside her recordings, Typh Barrow served as a coach on The Voice Belgique, which firmly anchored her in the francophone musical landscape.
