Cocoon
Cocoon is a folk music duo composed of Mark Daumail and Morgane Imbeaud. After meeting in the town of Clermont-Ferrand, the duo began composing and producing songs. In 2007 they won the CQFD contest organized by Les Inrocks and recorded their debut album "My Friends All Died In a Plane Crash" that same year. With tracks that quickly became hits — "Chupee" and "On My Way" — Cocoon's album was a major success. Their folk sound appealed to both audiences and critics, who also turned out for the band's concerts. After releasing a live album in 2009, recorded at a concert in Clermont-Ferrand, Cocoon returned to the studio to record "Where The Oceans End", an album that was once again well received by listeners and reviewers.
