The Glorious Sons

Formed in Kingston, Ontario, The Glorious Sons belong to a tradition of Canadian rock that blends raw energy with accessible melodies. Built around singer Brett Emmons and guitarist Jay Emmons, the band has developed a sound that mixes alternative rock, classic rock influences and bluesy touches, with lyrics focused on everyday life, family tensions and the excesses of a youth seeking direction. After an initial EP, 'Shapeless Art' (2013), The Glorious Sons released 'The Union' in 2014, which established them on the North American rock scene. The second album, 'Young Beauties and Fools' (2017), affirmed a taste for direct choruses and personal storytelling, while 'A War on Everything' (2019) broadened the palette toward a more expansive rock aimed at larger stages. With 'Glory' in 2023, The Glorious Sons continued this evolution, alternating electric tracks with more stripped-down ballads. Regularly touring Canada, the United States and Europe, The Glorious Sons have steadily made their mark on rock venues and festival circuits.
