Stoned Jesus

Stoned Jesus, formed in Kyiv in 2009 around Igor Sydorenko, has established itself as a leading force in European psychedelic and stoner rock with a sonic identity that blends massive doom, prog flights and a grunge-like tension. First Communion brought them to attention, and they reached an international audience with Seven Thunders Roar and the cult track “I’m the Mountain.” The trio confirmed their stature with The Harvest and Pilgrims, two albums that broadened both their palette and their audience. After nearly 500 concerts, sharing stages with Rammstein, Gojira and Black Sabbath and touring as support for Deep Purple, Stoned Jesus keeps exploring new territories. Father Light testifies to influences ranging from Swans to Deftones.
